NBfloor Portable Sports Flooring for Volleyball Courts
NBfloor, also known as Naibu Sports, is a professional manufacturer of sports wood flooring systems. Their product range includes portable, semi-portable and fixed/floating structures made from hard maple, birch, beech, oak and hevea. Many of their systems carry international certifications such as FIBA, EN 14904, DIN 18032 Part 2, ISO and BWF.
Key Models for Portable or Semi-Portable Use
NB-F800
A portable hard maple system with a 20–22 mm solid maple top layer. The structure uses 25 mm LVL battens and an 18 mm shock-absorbing cushion. Mortise-and-tenon and snake-spring connectors lock the panels without nails or glue. A standard volleyball court can be installed in about five hours by a crew of four to six. Certified for sports including volleyball and designed for repeated assembly and disassembly.
NB-H500 / NB-H600
Portable plank systems using maple (H500) or birch (H600). Lighter than the F800 series and easier to move. Good for venues that require frequent relocation of flooring while maintaining the look and performance of professional hardwood.
NB-F1893
A semi-portable three-layer hevea wood floor. The top layer is about 4 mm of hevea with a 10 mm foam underlay, total height about 24 mm. This option provides extra comfort and is suitable for multi-purpose spaces including volleyball practice areas where a softer, more forgiving surface is desired.
NB-H3035
A fixed/floating hard maple system with LVL battens and Japanese shock cushions. Double mortise-and-tenon joints and a moisture-resistant PVC membrane on the back. Better for permanent installations that need top-tier performance for indoor sports such as volleyball.
Advantages
• Wide choice of portable, semi-portable and fixed wood sports flooring to match different budgets and mobility requirements
• International certifications that meet competition standards for volleyball
• High-gloss factory finishes and strong mechanical connectors for durability and repeated installation cycles
• Shock-absorbing understructures to reduce player fatigue and protect joints
• Ability to ship internationally and supply complete court systems ready for quick installation
Points to Check
• Confirm the exact shock absorption and vertical deflection meet the requirements for competitive volleyball
• Consider shipping, customs and lead times when ordering from overseas
• Plan for ongoing maintenance of the high-gloss finish and for sourcing replacement panels or connectors
• Balance portability and long-term durability; more portable systems are easier to handle but may have a shorter lifespan compared to fully fixed floors
Use for Volleyball Courts
The NB-F800 is specifically certified for volleyball and offers the combination of solid maple surface, cushioning and quick installation that competitive volleyball events require. For tighter budgets or venues that need even easier handling, the semi-portable NB-F1893 or the lighter H500/H600 portable plank systems can be good alternatives.
